Wildlife Park Granat

The Granat Nature Wildlife Park is located near Haltern am See - at the transition from the Ruhr area to Münsterland, in the midst of a magnificent forest landscape. Throughout the year, the 600,000 square metre park attracts nature-loving people of all ages to its grounds. Visitors learn more about the native and some exotic wild species in a playful way and gain insights into the behaviour of the animal inhabitants.

A special highlight is the bird of prey show, where you can experience falcons, hawks, buzzards and many other birds of prey up close. A falconer shows various birds of prey in flight, how they strike their prey - here, of course, only dummies - and tells you a lot of interesting facts about these animals. The bird of prey show is only offered on certain dates.
