Leezenlust - Cycling in the Münsterland

This 30 kilometre circular tour shows Emsdetten from its most beautiful side: forests, parks, Ems floodplains and rural farming communities alternate. The start and finish is the railway station - ideally accessible and perfect for a relaxing break on two wheels in the middle of Münsterland.

The eastern Münsterland is always worth a trip for a weekend cycle tour. You can expect an entertaining circular route on the network of junctions around Sendenhorst, selected sights and great places to stop for refreshments. Pure cycling pleasure!

The sandstone route in the heart of the Münsterland region has an elevation gain of 760 metres. The route takes you to the small and large sandstone treasures. A ride through the beautiful landscape of the Baumberge awaits you.

On this varied, 34 km long circular tour, you can discover the most beautiful aspects of southern Münsterland, as there are several magnificent castles and fortresses along the way. If you wish, you can extend the tour to 53 kilometres.
