Sahle Wohnen is represented in more than 40 cities across Germany with a portfolio of around 23,000 flats, making it one of the leading private housing providers in Germany. The family-owned company, headquartered in Greven, employs a total of around 1,200 people and can look back on more than 125 years of history, including over 60 years in the housing industry.

A special feature of the Sahle Wohnen group of companies is the close integration of the construction and housing industries. All essential individual services, from the planning of residential complexes and houses to the construction, sale and operation through to long-term letting, are provided jointly by the group companies.

The housing company Sahle Wohnen is active in publicly subsidised and privately financed housing construction. The greatest possible customer proximity is ensured by 19 regional customer centres and service offices and the non-profit social service company Parea, which operates directly in the neighbourhoods.
