Cuddling cows with a Münsterland picnic basket

Britta has deep roots in the Münsterland region. For over twenty years, she has shaped life at Haus Visbeck – with a great passion for the historic estate, for animals, nature and everything that defines THE GOOD LIFE in the Münsterland: tranquillity, mindfulness and genuine warmth. Her Dexter cattle are her very own labour of love. These unassuming, trusting animals reflect her values and are at the heart of a very special experience.
During the cow cuddling session at Haus Visbeck, this deep connection between people and animals becomes palpable for everyone. Amidst the pastures, a quiet, almost meditative atmosphere takes hold. The gentle cattle allow you to get close, offer their trust – and invite you to consciously savour the moment. Britta guides the encounter with a wealth of experience and an intuitive understanding of both people and animals, explaining the animals’ behaviour and creating a safe space to slow down. Afterwards, she serves a delicious Münsterland picnic.
The picnic consists of the popular picnic box (for two people) from Dülmen Marketing e.V. and features regional produce. Vegetarian options are available on request. Non-alcoholic drinks are also provided.
