The forest, heath and meadow areas and the wild horse enclosure with around 400 free-roaming horses inthe Merfelder Bruch make a trip into the countryside a unique experience. Of course, you can also take your bike to the wild horses - Dülmen is located on the Münsterland cycle path network and offers many possibilities as a starting point, from a one-day tour to a cycle tour lasting several days.

The grave of Anna Katharina Emmerick

In Dülmen itself, thousands are drawn every year to the memorial and grave of the beatified Anna Katharina Emmerick. The nun had mystical visions in which she lived through the Passion of Christ every Friday.
