The wild horses are Dülmen's attraction

The forest, heath and meadow areas and the wild horse enclosure with around 400 free-living wild horses in the Merfelder Bruch make a trip into the countryside a unique experience. Of course, you can also take your bike to the wild horses - after all, Dülmen is located on the Münsterland cycle path network and offers many possibilities as a starting point, from a one-day tour to a cycling tour lasting several days.

The grave of Anna Katharina Emmerick

In Dülmen itself, thousands of people are drawn every year to the memorial and grave of the blessed Anna Katharina Emmerick. The nun had mystical visions in which she lived through the Passion of Christ every Friday.

Unforgettable experiences and relaxation are offered by the leisure centre "Joy'n Us", the leisure pool "düb", the vitality centre "Die Sauna Insel" and the Dülmener Wildpark. You should also take time for a stroll through the lively centre of Dülmen. Right in the town centre you will find the Escape Room in the Sievert bookshop - the only one in the Coesfeld district.

Castles and fortresses

There are also a few historical buildings to admire in Dülmen: At Haus Visbeck great events take place every now and then. Schloss Buldern is used as a boarding school, but is one of the most beautiful photo motifs in Münsterland.
