Peaceful landscapes, forests, meadows and the waters of the Ems characterise your bike tour. The 24 km long cycle tour is pure pleasure for you. You can enjoy the Münsterland park landscape with practically no ascents.
SStart your tour from the meeting point Telgte at the historic market square via Münsterstraße in the direction of the Marienlinde. This 750-year-old tree stands on the site of one of Telgte's former town gates. From there, turn right towards Westbevern via August-Winkhaus-Straße. At the subway, take the Ems cycle path to the former noble residence Haus Langen from the 16th century. The path through the Ems meadows is one of the most beautiful sections. After Haus Langen, turn right into the forest onto the 100 castles route route. As the trail continues, you will reach the Gröninger Kreuz. There you turn off in the direction of Westbevern-Dorf. After a short while you will reach the "Beverdorf", which invites you to take a break. Until you reach Ostbevern, stay on the theme trail of the 100 Castles Route. If you still have some time, it is worth making a detour to Loburg Castle in Ostbevern.
At Schulstraße, you change to the Peace Route in the direction of Telgte. You cycle through a varied heath landscape and follow the symbol of the "Peace Rider" to Telgte. The many cafés in the town are the perfect place to end the day.
