SUCCESSFULLY ATTRACTING AND RETAINING SKILLED WORKERS FROM ABROAD

Across the Münsterland region, we offer one-day workshops designed to raise awareness amongst employers about employing skilled workers from third countries and to prepare them for this. We provide practical guidance: from recruitment through to the first 100 days at the company, settling into their new home, and developing long-term prospects for the new employees.

The workshop series is aimed at employers in the Münsterland region who are interested in employing skilled workers from third countries or who have already gained some initial experience in this area. The workshop is not aimed at recruitment agencies or multipliers.

Participation is free of charge and includes refreshments and a group lunch.

The next workshop will take place in November 2026. Further information will follow.

The workshop series is a project run by Service Onboarding@Münsterland in cooperation with the economic development agencies of the districts of Borken, Coesfeld, Steinfurt and Warendorf, as well as the Jobcentres in the Münsterland region.

IMPORTANT: The focus of our topics is on the recruitment and integration of skilled workers from third countries. Third countries are all countries of origin that do not belong to the EU or EFTA states (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland).
