Cycling in Hopsten
Cyclists love to come to Hopsten. In the northernmost Münsterland, they will find a large number of wonderful cycle paths that lead through the many nature reserves in the region. The Holy Sea and the Recker Venn are just two examples of exceptional landscapes in the nearby area. For the most part, the cycle paths lead gently as far as Rheine or to the Nassen Dreieck and Gravenhorst Monastery in Hörstel. Cycling tours via Ibbenbüren to Tecklenburg are much more sporty. In the foothills of the Teutoburg Forest, one or two ascents await you. But you will be rewarded with great views of the Münsterland.
Hopsten in the Münsterland cycling region
4,500 km of signposted cycle paths criss-cross the Münsterland. Hopsten can also be reached via the practical junction system. With the junction system, you can easily put together your favourite route with a few numbers.
