Velen Forest Christmas Market

In November and December, the Krumme estate in Velen is once again transformed into a fairytale destination on four weekends. Countless lights illuminate the woodland belonging to the estate and the surrounding areas. Together with the lovingly decorated wooden huts, this creates a cosy and Christmassy atmosphere.

Around 150 selected exhibitors await you with exclusive gift ideas and Christmas delicacies. There will also be homemade cakes, coffee, hot chocolate and punch in the café.

The forest Christmas market in Velen is one of the most beautiful in Germany. It has been organised by the Krumme family since 1999.

By bus and train to the Velen Forest Christmas Market

Travelling to the Waldweihnachtsmarkt is climate-friendly and relaxed with public transport. Shuttle buses run from the multi-purpose hall in Velen and from the Netto car park in Gescher to the Waldweihnachtsmarkt. The two bus stops listed below offer several bus connections to the starting point of the shuttle buses.
