Action days euregio-history.net

The follow-up project to the cultural history internet platform euregio-history.net. Ten action days in the European Heritage Year 2018 serve to collect history and documents from contemporary witnesses in the German-Dutch border region on site, which will later be digitised. Encounters are created in storytelling cafés.

Apocalypse Münsterland

Lead project of the network launched in 2016: the basis is participatory curating by visitors with the participating houses and the subsequent container tour through Münsterland.

"explicit" - exhibitions, short symposium on 20 years of Druckvereinigung Bentlage

Multi-part project to strengthen the printmaking scene in Münsterland and to network active players. A symposium, an open workshop, a family Sunday and an exhibition are planned.

Dementia Theatre Consultation

In the dementia theatre consultation hours, theatre offers for people with dementia are to be created under professional supervision in four medical practices in Münsterland. The goal is a joint theatre performance.

Demos, discos, food for thought - the 1970s in Westphalia

A touring exhibition over 8 stations in cooperation with the LWL Museum Office that looks at politics, culture and life in the 1970s from different perspectives.

The edition between investment and deposit - the Ahlen Annual Gifts Symposium

The symposium for art associations in the region offers an opportunity to discuss and examine the rite of the annual gifts together, to incorporate the opinions of artists and to stimulate perspectives for cooperation between the institutions.

A web series for the Münsterland - Haus Kummerveldt

The popular and modern format "web series" is set in a regional and historical context: The fictional story of "Haus Kummerveldt" is set in the Münsterland region around 1900. The digital, sustainable publication is complemented by screenings and a lecture series.

Stranger Neighbour - Life in the Cold War in Münsterland

Interdisciplinary project to engage with Cold War sites in Münsterland, including the creation of a temporary knowledge store and large-scale event in the WWU bunker in the Bioenergiepark in Saerbeck.

Tales from the Fog - Münsterland's Spökenkiekerei Meets Silent Film Horror

In six small villages, creepy storytelling cafés are held in combination with silent films accompanied by live music. The aim is to revive local people's stories and cinema culture.

Sparks of the gods in Münsterland

Third edition of this series with concerts in Münster, Greven and other locations. Programmatic beacon in 2018: Beethoven's 9th Symphony.

Heimat:Fest - intercultural artist tandems from Münsterland

Follow-up project of "Heimat X: Werte" (2017) and Heimat X (Refugee Theatre) (2016): Interdisciplinary one-week event at one location with intercultural artist tandems. Venue to be determined after open call for proposals.

Home - Here Today

The project focuses on Münsterlanders with a wide variety of migration backgrounds and their path to integration and processes their personal stories in a book, film, touring exhibition and educational game.


Münsterland's marketplaces will become venues for installations, performances and lectures that place the European refugee situation in a regional-historical context.

Kunsthalle Weseke (KHW)

Artistic use of a former shop in the Weseke district of Borken. The theme of the situation of art and artists in rural areas is treated playfully through light art, performances, installations and workshops.

Literary Leezentour (working title)

Literary Landpartie as a cooperation project between cuba e.V., Kloster Bentlage and DA, Kunsthaus Kloster Gravenhorst, which will present a "cultural bicycle tour" as well as a magazine with an audio supplement.

Münsterland Festival part 10

The anniversary edition of the well-known series of events: around 40 events in one month from the fields of music, visual arts and dialogues (cross-disciplinary offerings).

Musical "Oliver!"

The regional cooperation of primary schools, vocational colleges and music schools includes the rehearsal and six performances of the musical "Oliver! The aim is to build a long-lasting, sustainable network of actors so that performances of this kind will continue to be possible.

"Myth Annette - Droste-Hülshoff's Modernity": An Intermedial Project

Interdisciplinary, two-year project dealing with the work and impact of Annette von Droste-Hülshoff. The events at various locations, in which a spatial installation forms the centre, are expanded by a varying artistic and educational programme.

Reset*Landpartie | Six nature and cultural experience tours in Münsterland

Full-day, innovative mixed arts programme between nature and cultural experience tour at six exciting locations in Münsterland. Offered as a bus tour (starting from Münster) or as an on-site offer.

schicht:ende - Art meets coal

In the sign of the phase-out of coal mining, the coal region Ibbenbüren would like to use the year 2018 to offer an extensive programme together with other cultural institutions from the region and thus draw attention to the cultural potential of this new (cultural) quarter that is to be developed.

sozialpalast MUSIK CONVOY - Hip Hop Hurray! 2018

Continuation of the series of events offering workshops with (migrant) youth and subsequent presentation on the mobile stage (truck). Motto: By those affected for those affected.

Trumpet Tree and Violin Fig 2018 - Music in Gardens and Parks in Münsterland (TG)

The eleventh edition again includes ten to twelve concerts with regional artists followed by guided tours in the gardens and parks of the Münsterland. The professionalisation of the garden tours is to be pushed further.

Forest and Meadows Concerts

A trailer wooden stage provides the setting for at least 10 acoustic concerts of different musical genres in the nature of Münsterland. Musicians are to be inspired by the landscape.
