Cycling in Schöppingen
The Schöppinger Berg is the only elevation around the pleasant town. The cycle paths around Schöppingen can therefore be used without much effort and there are plenty of destinations for a bike tour. The castle manors of Horstmar and Heek bear witness to the region's eventful history. Even more impressive are the castles of Ahaus and Steinfurt. Both border directly on the town centres of the respective villages, where you will find numerous opportunities for a relaxing break. Music fans, on the other hand, head for the rock'n'popmuseum in Gronau, which is always shining with new exhibitions.
