You start off in a south-westerly direction in the middle of the famous Münsterland park landscape: lush meadows and pastures line the path as you pass the villages of Natrup and Tilbeck. A short barefoot walk in Tilbeck could be your first port of call: this time-out takes about an hour. Alternatively, you can simply take a moment to close your eyes and listen to nature.
On the onward journey, you will pass through Schapdetten, a district of the municipality of Nottuln. The route then takes you along picturesque and unspoilt countryside. A little game of hide-and-seek with the Stever, which appears from time to time along the way, accompanies you on the rest of the route. In the distance you can already see the Longinus Tower on the Westerberg.
Tip: The tower is the highest point in the Münsterland region and offers a magnificent view over the Münsterland park landscape as far as Emsland, the Teutoburg Forest, the Ruhr region and our Dutch neighbours. In addition, Café 18|97 is located here, which invites you to linger with homemade cakes and tarte flambée, among other things.
