MÜNSTERLAND FESTIVAL PART 10: RESET*LANDPARTIE TO EVERSWINKEL
At this Landpartie 2019 as part of the Münsterland Festival part 10, the bus was used a little more frequently and there were several stops. The little rendezvous began at the Brückhausen manor house, where Georgian modern jazz musician Reso Kiknadze played a mini-set as a foretaste of the evening. The tour then continued on foot across fields and meadows, visiting special farms and making another surprise stop by bus. Among other things, there was mystical, melodic dream pop from the English duo Samana.
Finally, there were two options: to round off the last Landpartie of 2019 at Herrenhaus Brückhausen with a concert by the Reso Kiknadze Trio or to say goodbye to the Landpartie with a surprise program in Münster.
THE RESET*LANDPARTIE AT THE MÜNSTERLAND FESTIVAL
The RESET*Landpartie - a cultural and nature experience with mixed arts tours at various locations in Münsterland.
The RESET concept has been on the road since 2016 and the last four excursions of 2019 were fittingly held in conjunction with the Münsterland Festival, which has also offered excursions in the past. Fellow travelers could look forward to a particularly strong programme with international musical highlights.
The cultural coffee trip started for some of the group on the bus from Münster and met up with other participants at the destination. Together, the colourful group set off on an exciting program in the countryside. There they experienced selected artists from various disciplines up close and got to know great places and special venues. Each individual tour had a unique program tailored to the circumstances. Sometimes funny, sometimes mysterious, sometimes spectacular, sometimes intimate - but always a shared experience away from the ordinary. Or, as one of the artists once put it: a gift to everyone involved.
MANOR HOUSE BRÜCKHAUSEN IN EVERSWINKEL
The Brückhausen manor house stands between old fruit trees in Everswinkel-Alverskirchen. The first documented mention of the estate dates back to 1363. The two-storey brick manor house with house stone windows, which has been preserved, was built in 1601 in the Westphalian late Renaissance style on the remains of earlier buildings. The estate originally stood on two islands, but large parts of the moat have since been filled in. Today, the von Twickel family lives in the manor house, runs a farm and rents out magnificent guest rooms and function rooms in a historic and romantic ambience.
Unfortunately, Brückhausen Manor is not barrier-free.
