EXCURSION DROSTE LANDSCAPE : POETRY TRAIL ON OCTOBER 17TH FROM HÜLSHOFF CASTLE
IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF ANNETTE VON DROSTE-HÜLSHOFF IN HAVIXBECK
In mid-June 2021, after several months of construction, the Droste Landscape : Poetry Trail was opened, creating a new link between Hülshoff Castle and Haus Rüschhaus in Havixbeck. The poetry trail invites you to walk in the footsteps of Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, explore literature and art in the landscape and enjoy nature.
A total of 20 stations in the landscape trace the changes in literature, everyday culture and nature through the centuries. Over 50 authors, artists, scientists and experts have contributed texts, pictures, music and audio pieces as well as a film.
At the Münsterland Festival, the Droste Landscape : Poetry Trail will be followed from Haus Rüschhaus in the direction of Hülshoff Castle, where a concert by Sigrid Horn awaits visitors in the outer bailey in the evening.
Droste-Landschaft : Lyrikweg is a project of the Annette von Droste zu Hülshoff-Stiftung and Burg Hülshoff - Center for Literature. It is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
