PAIER-VALCIC-PREINFALK ON OCTOBER 24 AT HAUS SIEKMANN
JAZZ, WORLD MUSIC AND CLASSICAL MUSIC AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL WITH THE PAIER-VALCIC-PREINFALK TRIO

The Paier-Valcic-Preinfalk trio presents world music and classical music with the smooth tones of clarinet, saxophone, accordion and cello. Listeners are enthralled and won over by the trio's passion.
Whether on the keys, strings or keys: The trio, consisting of the Austrians Klaus Paier and Gerald Preinfalk and the Croatian Asja Valcic, offers jazz, world music and classical music at the highest level.
With these three musicians, the clarinet, bass clarinet and soprano saxophone blend perfectly with the timbres of the accordion and cello. Thanks to their creativity, the trio always remains gripping in their interplay and delivers a musical picture arc that confidently combines different styles. The trio's performance is powerful and yet fragile in its components, with plenty of room for virtuoso improvisations and solo highlights. In this way, the musicians convey passion and subtlety to the audience and practise playing with contrasts. They succeed in striking a balance between form and freedom, complex music and compelling melodies.
THE VENUE: HAUS SIEKMANN

Haus Siekmann - a former farmhouse - is the center for social and cultural education and communication in the town of Sendenhorst. Since 1998, the facility has been available to the people of Sendenhorst for a variety of purposes. The youth center "Hotspot" is located in the so-called villa section. The barn, which offers fine acoustics with its timber frame, and the fireplace room are the venues for a rich and varied cultural program.
