SINFONIA DE CARNAVAL TAKES YOU INTO UNIQUE WORLDS OF SOUND
The Sinfonia de Carnaval duo promises instrumental art-pop that knows no boundaries: elements of jazz and pop meet electronic sounds and the full sound spectrum of classical playing techniques. The audience at the Münsterland Festival at RELíGIO in Telgte can experience the result.
With their new program "Sweeping Dragon", the award-winning duo will take their audience into the world of storytelling. With brilliant sound stories featuring trombone, violoncello, vocals and accordion, they sometimes create fantasy worlds, sometimes tangible sound experiences. Anna Lang and Alois Eberl capture experiences, dreams and fantasies in sound with impressive instrumental technique and creativity. The musical portraits, narratives and sonic snapshots find their musical expression in merciless grooves, brute drama, wide improvisational fields and surprising spontaneity.

THE VENUE: THE RELÍGIO IN TELGTE
Right next to the pilgrimage church in Telgte is the RELíGIO Museum with its old and new buildings and its exhibition on religious culture in Westphalia. The oldest part of the museum is the parish barn from 1607, where the hearth fire flickers on special occasions. Today, the barn is used as an exhibition and event venue. Bridal couples say "I do" here. Münsterland culture is cultivated in this rustic ambience, from eating ice cream cakes to readings and concerts.
