MOZULUART FEAT. AMBASSADE STRING QUARTET
The three powerful voices of Vusa, Ramadu and Blessings, a string quartet from the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and Roland Guggenbichler on the piano create the unmistakable sound of MoZuluArt. In this special crossover project, Mozart meets African musical tradition. The project does not fit into any pigeonhole and leads to the source of joie de vivre.
A unique combination of traditional African vocal music and classical compositions: The internationally successful formation MoZuluArt shows what it sounds like when Mozart's Serenade in G major leaves its cozy setting at the imperial court and is inspired by the pulsating rhythm of the Ndebele and Zulu. "Mozart meets Zulu" brings all the qualities of MoZuluArt to the point, their warmth and their sensual and intellectual power.
THE VENUE: FRIEDENSKAPELLE IN MÜNSTER
Today's concert hall was built in 1953 as the "All Saints Chapel" for the British military stationed in Loddenheide at the time. In 1999, after the British left, the dilapidated building was purchased by Münster entrepreneur Egbert Snoek and lovingly and lavishly restored. Since 2003, the Friedenskapelle am Friedenspark has been used as a concert and event hall, enriching Münster's cultural life. With its excellent acoustics, the Friedenskapelle concert hall is a charming jewel box with a sophisticated concert program.
The Friedenskapelle is suitable for people in wheelchairs.
