ELIS NOA ON NOVEMBER 5, 2021 AT THE KULT
ELIS NOA ARE AT HOME IN THE SOUND WORLDS BETWEEN POP, R&B AND FUTURE SOUL
In the soundscapes between pop, R&B and future soul, the duo ELIS NOA will be presenting songs full of intimacy and depth at the Münsterland Festival at kult.
Elisa Godino and Aaron Hader are the heart and soul of the Viennese electronic soul duo ELIS NOA. They met while studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts and have been on stage together ever since. Together they write and produce songs in search of an honest reflection of their lives. At the Münsterland Festival in Vreden, they will meet video artist Sven Stratmann, with whom they will create an audiovisual Gesamtkunstwerk.
ELIS NOA's sound ranges from pop to contemporary R&B and future soul. Their songs are full of intimacy and depth, the sound is soulful and reduced, but also honest and poignant. After two EPs and numerous performances on stages in Europe, the duo released their debut album "What Do You Desire?" in fall 2020. ELIS NOA are currently working on their second studio album, which is due to be released later this year.
THE VENUE: THE KULT IN VREDEN
The kult in Vreden combines state-of-the-art architecture, museum, research and science like hardly any other building in western Germany. In this new building, which opened in summer 2017, the juxtaposition of old and new could not be greater: exposed concrete, dominant clinker facades, light-flooded areas and a 'chill-out' zone set an extraordinary accent on the cultural axis of the city of Vreden. Folkloristic and art-historical exhibits from people's everyday lives invite visitors on a journey back in time more than 1400 years. This change of perspective is what makes the kult so attractive and unusual.
