AVEC is shaking up the international charts with her emotional and catchy songs. The Austrian singer and songwriter loves nothing more than being on stage, and at the Münsterland Festival she will be conquering the stage at the Großes Haus in Theater Münster.
AVEC is an exceptional vocal talent who is appreciated above all for her honest lyrics and catchy melodies. Characterized by her affection for prose, the lyrics are usually written first and often contain autobiographical elements. She is accompanied by Andreas Häuserer (electric guitar, piano, co-producer), Thomas Gieferl (drums, percussion) and Ross Stanciu (bass). Her single "Under Water" has gold status in Austria. In 2019, after several nominations, she also took home her first Amadeus Award in the Alternative category, the Music Moves Europe Talent Award (Singer/Songwriter) and the Hubert von Goisern Culture Prize.

Modern architecture that is both a contrast and a multifaceted point of reference to Münster's historic old town: this is the idea behind the Theater Münster, which was built from 1954 to 1956 on the ruins of the building that was destroyed in the war. Today, it unites five disciplines under one roof: music theater, drama, children's and youth theater, dance theater and the Münster Symphony Orchestra. The program with numerous guest performances, readings and lectures is as traditional as it is avant-garde. The auditorium of the Grosses Haus is all black, with 955 seats under around 1000 lampshades.
