ALPINE SOUNDS ON THE HERMANNSWEG ON OCTOBER 31 IN HÖRSTEL
HIKE TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES IN NORTHERN MÜNSTERLAND
Visitors can look forward to a guided hike to the most beautiful places in northern Münsterland.
Starting at the DA, Kunsthaus Kloster Gravenhorst, the trail leads along the Mittelland Canal to the "Wet Triangle". There you hike uphill on the famous Hermannsweg trail as well as on the short sections of the Teuto loop at the foothills of the Teutoburg Forest. At the "Schöne Aussicht" viewpoint, you can let your gaze wander into the valley. There is also a musical interlude from the Baumberg alphorn players, and from there the route heads back towards Gravenhorst Monastery.
The final SAISONALE* festival awaits visitors at the monastery. As part of the Gravenhorst SAISONALE*, a variety of temporary art installations focusing on garden art have been created in the outdoor area, the so-called monastery green, since spring 2019. In addition to a guided tour, there is also the opportunity to talk to the SAISONALE* artists. Light art works in the outdoor space and a culinary offering from Café Clara will create an atmospheric ambience until the Purple is the Color concert begins at 6.30 pm.
