THE VENUE: BAGNO CONCERT GALLERY IN STEINFURT

The Steinfurt Bagno, the former pleasure garden of the Count of Bentheim-Steinfurt, is a cultural gem in the Münsterland region. The concert gallery, built in 1774, is located in the park of Steinfurt Castle and is the oldest free-standing concert hall in Europe. Elaborate stucco decorations, grotesque wall niches, mirrored walls and ceiling mirrors give the interior a unique ambience. For more than 20 years, concerts with artists have brought the restored concert hall back to life.
