KALNEIN LÓPEZ SCHWARZ ON OCTOBER 31 AT THE MUSEUM ABTEI LIESBORN
INTO THE NOW!

This trio lives European diversity. Born in different countries, saxophonist Heinrich von Kalnein, bassist Gina Schwarz and drummer Ramón López are united by their love of improvisation and composition. The three experienced artists, who are well established in Europe's jazz world, prove with their formation that the greatest quality in jazz still lies in the immediacy of the moment.
The audience can expect melodic and rhythmic structures, surprises and the willingness of the musicians to follow each other's playing at every moment and make something of their own out of it. Mutual sympathy and empathy, coupled with years of experience and enormous talent, is what makes this international trio so successful.

THE VENUE: THE MUSEUM ABTEI LIESBORN IN WADERSLOH

The Liesborn Abbey Museum is located in the village center of Liesborn, not far from the small river "Liese". The young and lively museum is housed in the former Benedictine Abbey of Liesborn, which existed between around 750 and 1803. Of the former monastery ensemble, only the church and the baroque, three-winged abbey and representative building, in which the museum was established in 1966, remain today. The ballroom serves as the backdrop for an annual series of chamber concerts. The museum is widely known for its impressive collection of crucifixes and paintings by the Master of Liesborn.
