A musical diary

Linda Fredriksson stands out in the Finnish jazz landscape with her outstanding saxophone playing. Fredriksson has a versatile and unique style that spans all genres and makes every performance special. At the Münsterland Festival, Linda Fredriksson will perform the opening evening at the LWL Museum of Art and Culture. In her luggage: the solo project "Juniper" - an honest, personal singer-songwriter album, performed by an instrumental jazz band.
The album is a beautiful meditation on personal feelings and private experiences, composed of soundscapes created over several years: Fredriksson composed the songs primarily on guitar, keyboard and through vocals, later rearranging them. "Juniper" is a world unto itself and Fredriksson describes the process as one of chosen isolation: "It's a world unto itself and a place of solitude in the midst of all the chaos. A cozy bubble to linger in."
Fredriksson, known for his virtuoso alto and baritone saxophone playing, this time also performs on bass clarinet, guitar, drums, synthesizer and with recordings of background noises. The audience can look forward to a very personal, top-class musical diary.

In cooperation with the LWL Museum of Art and Culture.
