RELOCATED: MARINA & THE KATS IN EVERSWINKEL
MODERN INDIE-SWING FROM VIENNA

This band started out as a three-piece, but has since grown into a quartet: Marina & The Kats have been one of the most exciting and thrilling bands in Austria, if not Europe, for years. The audience at the Münsterland Festival in Grothues will be able to enjoy an energetic show that will get them singing along.
Three of the four band members actively play drums. "Shared drums doesn't make it any easier," says the band itself, "but it makes it fatter." Because that's what Marina & The Kats are all about: a completely independent sound that mercilessly drives the songs forward and ensures that nobody can escape the groove at the concerts. The songs on the new album by the gang around band leaders Marina and Thomas also benefit from this. The new record is raw, direct and wonderfully uncouth. On the other hand, the songs are of course also a musical reflection of the past year.

VENUE: GROTHUES IN EVERSWINKEL

The Kulturkreis Everswinkel, which has been in existence since 1996, presents around a dozen events a year at Grothues, including cabaret evenings, children's theater, crime nights and a regular cabaret stage. The Grothues, a former barn in a converted former farmhouse, provides a wonderful backdrop for events of all kinds. In addition to sponsorship and entrance fees, donations and membership fees, the Kulturkreis is financed by the cultural budget of the municipality of Everswinkel. There are always new "perspectives", sometimes lively, sometimes very quiet, but always stimulating.
Grothues 8, 48351 Everswinkel
The event takes place as part of the 25th anniversary of the Kulturkreis Everswinkel .
