RESET*LANDPARTIE FROM LENGERICH TO TECKLENBURG ON OCTOBER 7

The first RESET*Landpartie together with the Münsterland Festival takes the tour group by bus from Münster to Lengerich to Haus Vortlage. Here, other interested parties can join the program. In addition to a cultural program, coffee and cake, small guided tours are also offered on site. From Haus Vortlage, an approximately one-and-a-half-hour hike leads into the Teutoburg Forest, where you can discover the Lengerich Canyon and a fantastic view from the top of the ridge. The route leads to Tecklenburg and the moated castle Haus Marck, where negotiations for the Peace of Westphalia took place in 1643. A PIANEO special with two concerts awaits the participants there: the young Münster musician Marius Nitzbon (piano and electronics) and the Finnish-Italian musician and composer Elia Lombardini (violin and electronics) will be on stage. A delicious soup for refreshment, time for conversation and little surprises round off the cultural experience.
In cooperation with RESET e.V. and the moated castle Haus Marck.
THE VENUES: HAUS VORTLAGE AND WASSERSCHLOSS HAUS MARCK
Vortlage House began as a manor in 1241. Initially owned by the noble von Münster zu Vortlage family, it eventually became the property of the von Blomberg family. The manor house, the baroque bridge complex and the half-timbered mill with weir were built under them. In 1987, two professors from the University of Münster, Line Kossolapow and Anneliese Manzmann, took over the estate, which today serves as a cultural and educational center for the foundation of the same name.
First mentioned in a document in the 14th century, the still existing four-winged complex of the moated castle Haus Marck at the foot of the mountain town of Tecklenburg bears witness to the architecture of the time. The manor house dates back to the middle of the 16th century. In 1643, Haus Marck was the site of negotiations for the Peace of Westphalia. The present form is mainly based on alterations dating from 1754. The von Diepenbroick-Grüter family has lived in the house since the 16th century. Concerts and readings are regularly held in the public part of the house, especially in the Knights' Hall.
