BOBBY OROZA ON OCTOBER 12 AT RAESFELD CASTLE

+++ADVANCED+++
Soul music about love and life
Finnish soul musician Bobby Oroza is known for his love ballads as well as his positive mood and soulful lyrics. His latest album "Get On The Otherside" is even more profound: he sings about life, love, new perspectives and changed ways of thinking. At the Münsterland Festival at Raesfeld Castle, he will give an insight into this.
Bobby Oroza grew up in the immigrant-populated east of Helsinki, his Bolivian mother was a poet and tango singer, his Finnish father a jazz guitarist. His family, his neighborhood and the omnipresent music were his cosmos and continue to shape him to this day. With his latest album, he also deals with his experiences during the coronavirus pandemic, when he found himself on construction sites instead of on stage - with sensitivity and optimism at the same time.
In cooperation with the Tourist-Info Raesfeld.

THE VENUE: RAESFELD CASTLE

The history of Raesfeld Castle dates back to the 12th century. At the end of the 16th century, it came into the possession of the von Velen family, who extended it in the Renaissance style. Of the former four castle wings, the west wing with its striking stepped tower and the adjoining old building to the north with its rebuilt round tower still stand today. Today, the castle serves as a venue for events and as the headquarters of the Chamber of Crafts' further training facility.
