Between yesterday and today

Mar Pujol's songs sound like they come from another time, and yet they are firmly anchored in the present. The singer-songwriter from Catalonia combines traditional folk with modern influences from indie pop and Mediterranean music. With her warm voice and acoustic guitar, she tells poetic stories of everyday life, relationships and inner searching.

She was accompanied by Bruna González on the cello, whose classically trained tone enhanced the sound. Together, they created an intimate atmosphere in which past and present intertwined musically. At the Münsterland Festival, they performed as a duo in the Alte Amtmannei and showed the audience an honest and deeply moving performance.

The concert could also be booked in combination with the country tour from Havixbeck to Nottuln.

In a prestigious location at the former west gate of the city, a handsome villa from the Wilhelminian era has been home to the Ahlen Art Museum since 1993. Since its extension in 1996 with a steel and glass composite construction, the building presents itself as a unique ensemble of different epochs in architectural history. The combination of old and new is also reflected in the museum's program, which ranges from classical modernism to the present day.
