GORILLA CLUB (CHILDREN'S CONCERT)

The Cologne-based children’s band GORILLA CLUB connects with its young audience on an equal footing—both in their songs and on stage—with charm, directness, and the energy of a real band: electric guitars, synthesizers, and powerful drums included. In doing so, they effortlessly transcend the boundaries of traditional “children’s” or “adult” music, creating a sound that appeals to all generations. With their unusual, colorful, and clever pop songs, they invite children to listen, think for themselves, and empathize.

GORILLA CLUB caused a sensation in 2018 with their debut album “1-2-3-4!”: With a mix of styles and themes, the band thrilled children and adults alike—and quickly became a staple in children’s bedrooms and on family road trips.

Straddling the line between poetic depth and humorous nonsense, their songs possess a special quality: they take children’s imaginations seriously while celebrating their wit and curiosity. The result is melodic, lively stories about everyday life and the fantastical—about food, arguments, animals, cities, memories, movies, and friendship.
