Antonio Lizana is one of the most influential artists in contemporary flamenco jazz. With passionate singing, virtuoso saxophone playing and a keen sense of tradition and modernity, he combines Andalusian flamenco with jazz, oriental sounds and global influences. His music is both rooted and cosmopolitan - a powerful bridge between cultures.
A special highlight of every concert is the performance of El Mawi de Cádiz - flamenco dancer, singer and a real stage event. His dance is more than just a visual accompaniment: it becomes a percussive instrument that helps shape the musical pulse with its pounding rhythm, physical expression and precision. In the interaction with the band and the audience, El Mawi becomes a driving force, a human percussion - intense, hypnotic, elemental.
It all flows together in Lizana's new album "Vishuddha", named after the chakra of voice and purity. It reflects Lizana's musical vision: emotional, spiritual, boundless. This universe of sound unfolds live at the Falkenhof Museum in Rheine - an evening full of intensity, rhythm and depth.

THE VENUE: KULTURGUT HAUS NOTTBECK
The estate was probably built during the Carolingian period and was given its name in the 14th century by the noble tenant family von Falke. The baroque three-winged complex with its open staircase and characteristic pigeon fountain dates back to the middle of the 18th century. Since 1962, the Falkenhof has been Rheine's town museum, where Westphalian aristocratic culture can be discovered and art from the Middle Ages to modern times is on display.
