KINO AUFS LAND MEETS MÜNSTERLAND FESTIVAL ON NOVEMBER 5 AT THE ALTE BRENNEREI SCHWAKE
More than just film!
With screen and projector in tow, the Filmwerkstatt Münster has already stopped off at six different locations in Münsterland in 2025 with its "Kino aufs Land" series. For the Münsterland Festival, the mobile cinema returned to the big screen at the start of the winter season - in the special setting of North Rhine-Westphalia's smallest movie theater: the Alte Brennerei Schwake in Ennigerloh.
There, the Filmwerkstatt presented a diverse short film program. Exclusively selected shorts from Spain met audience favorites from the short film section of the Münster Film Festival - an exciting mix of documentary formats, imaginative animations and impressive short fiction films.
As always: cinema is more than just film! During a culinary film talk, the audience will have the opportunity to discuss what they have seen.

THE VENUES: BENTLAGE MONASTERY IN RHEINE AND FARB FORUM ALTES RATHAUS BORKEN
A cultural center in the middle of a former distillery: this is the Alte Brennerei Schwake in Ennigerloh. Since its conversion in the 1980s, events such as cabaret, theater, music and exhibitions have been held in the striking, historic building. The building is also home to the smallest cinema in NRW. The program is organized by the Alte Brennerei Schwake e. V. association.
