RESET*LANDPARTIE FROM LENGERICH TO TECKLENBURG ON OCTOBER 7
The first RESET*Landpartie together with the Münsterland Festival took the tour group by bus from Münster to Havixbeck. Here, other interested parties were able to join the program.
In the historic setting of Tilbeck Abbey, guests were treated to coffee and cake as well as a concert by the Alos Quartet. From there, a two-hour hike led through the characteristic landscape of the Baumberge with its sandstone quarries and gently rolling hills. The route led past the historic Schulze Westerath watermill, which is well worth a visit. Small cultural surprises and time for conversation rounded off the hike.
Arriving at the Alte Amtmannei in Nottuln, the participants were treated to a delicious soup and a special concert: Catalan singer-songwriter Mar Pujol enchanted the audience with her earthly, ethereal performance - calm pop meets sensitive folk nuances.
In cooperation with RESET e.V.
All country tours involved short to medium-length walks. The events were not barrier-free. Please wear sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather.
THE VENUES: TILBECK ABBEY AND THE OLD AMTMANNEI
Tilbeck Abbey is an inclusive place that was founded in 1881 as an educational institution for epileptics by Getrud Teigelkämper. The Maria Hilf chapel, which was completed in 1899, is the focal point of the imposing complex. Next to it is the 35-metre-high water tower from 1907, now a book antiquarian bookshop. Tilbeck Abbey is still at the service of people today and offers residential, work and day-structuring services for people with disabilities.
The Alte Amtmannei in Nottuln was built between 1748 and 1749 according to plans by Johann Conrad Schlaun as a single-storey building, followed by the addition of a storey in 1784. The important building in Nottuln's Stiftsdorf served as a residence for the local bailiffs. Today it is a popular venue for concerts, conferences and cultural events such as readings, exhibitions and much more.
