RESET*LANDPARTIE IN AND AROUND THE WASSERSCHLOSS RAESFELD ON 26 OCTOBER
The second RESET*Landpartie with the Münsterland Festival takes us to the moated castle of Raesfeld in western Münsterland. You can start in Münster or at the tourist information office near the castle.
There is a varied cultural program on site: we go up high and into the exciting rooms of the Academy of Crafts. In addition to coffee and cake, one or two cultural surprises await the participants in and around Raesfeld moated castle.
Barcelona-based pianist Mélodie Gimard will perform at the end of the event. Her roots in dance characterize her expressive piano playing, which combines flamenco with improvisational elements from jazz, folklore and world music.

All country tours involve short to medium-length walks. The events are not barrier-free. Please remember to wear sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather.
THE VENUE: WASSERSCHLOSS RAESFELD
The history of Raesfeld moated castle dates back to the 12th century. At the end of the 16th century, it came into the possession of the von Velen family, who extended it in the Renaissance style. Of the former four castle wings, the west wing with its striking stepped tower and the adjoining old building to the north with its rebuilt round tower still stand today. Today, the castle serves as a venue for events and as the headquarters of the Chamber of Crafts' further training facility.
