UNFORTUNATELY THE EVENT HAS TO BE CANCELED.
Unfortunately, we have to cancel the "Sustainable mobility in culture" event. Despite exciting speakers, the number of registrations was too low to be able to hold the format as planned this year.
However, our commitment to greater sustainability within the Münsterland Festival remains unchanged - we will continue to pursue the topic in the future and examine new formats.
The cultural sector relies on mobility - but travel, transportation and tours leave an ecological footprint. What challenges does this pose and how can (international) cultural projects be designed in a climate-friendly way without jeopardizing quality and exchange?
The discussion event in cooperation with Kreativ-Haus Münster brings together artistic perspectives, event organizers and experts to shed light on the challenges and opportunities of sustainable mobility for artists and audiences in the cultural sector. The guests will provide practical impulses and then discuss concrete solutions, political framework conditions and realistic alternatives. The audience and expert guests are also invited to actively participate in the discussion.

THE VENUE: KREATIV-HAUS
Built in 1913 by architect Hilger Hertel the Younger, the two-storey building was originally the fraternity house of the Saxoniae student fraternity. It combines Neo-Renaissance and Art Nouveau elements and still bears the Saxonia coat of arms on its façade. In 1977, Kreativ-Haus e. V. moved in and transformed the building into a cultural, educational and meeting place. The building has been a listed building since 1985.
