RUSÓ SALA & MIRIAM ENCINAS: PAXARAS ON OCTOBER 5 AT THE MUSEUM ABBEY LIESBORN

Music like a flap of wings

When musician and composer Rusó Sala strums the first guitar strings, a hint of melancholy wafts across the dry sandy soil before your inner eye and inspires you to reflect on your own freedom of movement and identity.

Together with multi-instrumentalist Míriam Encinas, Sala forms an exciting duo that has passed through the different styles, languages and eras of the Iberian Peninsula as quietly as a migratory bird. The musicians used instruments such as the kantele - a kind of zither -, flute, drum, but also electric guitar or sampler and created a soulful world of sound between Europe and the Orient.

The name PAXARAS means something like "plowing peace" or "bird flight" and appeals to the senses: You hear the wind blowing, feel the sun on your skin and see the Spanish landscapes passing by below you. Fly with us!
